I got a mail from Shane asking if i could make a Thomas train cake for her as that was her son’s favourite toy at the moment. She had also done her homework and provided me with a picture of the cake she wanted me to copy and asked if i could do it for her.
After looking at the design i said it wasn’t a problem and off i went to do the cake for her. Here’s what the final cake looked like.. notice the little accents of the mushroom, ladybug and snails on the cake?

My friend Rena called me the other day and asked me if i could do some Spongebob square pants cupcakes for her. I always thought the Spongebob dolls were really cute but translating that into a cupcake wouldn’t be easy since Spongebob has really tiny legs! In the end i decided to make just Spongebob’s face on the cupcake instead of a 3D figurine as i thought they would look better.
These were the final result of the cupcakes. I think i could have improved on Spongebob’s face, but overall i was quite happy with the way they turned out. Hmm.. you know what.. i just realised i missed out something… not sure if anyone realised what i missed out but if you look at the top row of spongebob.. i realised i left out the little red loop near the mouth, on the face of that spongebob :p I hope no one noticed that as i only realised it myself when i saw the photos. :p
