Relus contacted me sometime back and asked if i could do some cupcakes for her. She had 2 birthday celebrations on the same day and wanted a set of cupcakes with flowers and a cow, with another set with flowers and a rat. The reason for the rat and cow was cos one of the birthday celebrants was born in the year of the Cow and the other in the year of the Rat.
For the mouse, i did them in 3d while for the cow ones, i switched it up a little and did 2d version of the cow’s face on it. I thought they came out quite well and hopefully the birthday celebrants liked the cupcakes too!

I had a very special request this week for a guy who’s proposing to his girlfriend. His special request, well.. he’s born in the year of the rat according to the Lunar calendar, and he therefore asked if i could do some cupcakes for him with mouse toppers and having them hold the words “Marry Me”. Of course i couldn’t pass up this opportunity to do something like this right!! So exciting.. haha.. and although i think every girl will deny the next sentence i’m going to type.. i believe all women have this little germ of match-making in them and being able to do anything in the minutest degree to contribute to couple married!!
Well.. since the theme for the cuppies were already set, i jumped right into doing the little toppers. As there were more cuppies in a box than the words requested, i decided to have a 2 mouses on a cupcake, with one of them holding out the ring to the other. I know.. corny.. but hey it’s cute!
Well… these are the little fellas… I hope the girl says yes, don’t you? I’m only wondering how he’s going to present this to her and how he’s going to orchestrate his proposal… :p yes.. my “kah poh-ness” is showing… haha
