I received an e-mail from Michelle asking if i could do a Pooh and friends cake with the characters Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore on the cake. In addition, she also wanted some cupcakes in a similar theme.

After some discussion, we decided on the following designs for the cupcakes – butterflies, bees and ladybugs. Well i won’t say more and i’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Vanessa e-mailed me asking if i could do some soccer themed cupcakes for her anniversary. Her boyfriend was an avid soccer fan and so she wanted the cupcakes to have some soccer boots and soccer balls as toppers.
I think i’m getting much better at piping letters onto my cupcakes now.. don’t you think so?
Plus i loved the bright colours for the lettering

Ms Auw asked if i could do some cupcakes with doggies on them for her. Her special request was for some cupcakes with Westie toppers and others of her white bull terrier. These were the final cupcakes I made.

My favourite had to be this little fella

Nicole had seen this Pooh cake previously on my website and liked it so much that she asked if i could do the exact same cake for her daughter.

In addition to the cake, she also aksed if i could do some pooh themed cupcakes that would go with the cake. I said no problem and we decided on some bees, flowers and ladybugs as toppers for the cupackes since it would go perfectly with the cake.

What do you think.. weren’t the cupcakes cute

I received an e-mail from Germaine sometime back asing if i could do some simple cupcakes for her as she was celebrating her 4th anniversary with her boyfriend.
After some discussion with her, she requested for a cupcake with a boy and a girl figurine, and a cupcake with the words “4th anni” on it. She also sent me some pictures of her and her boyfriend as she wanted the boy figurine to be wearing her boyfriend’s favourite jacket.
Hopefully they both liked the cupcakes

I got a call from my cousin sometime back asking me if i could do a Ben 10 cake and cupcake for her son’s birthday. She was throwing him a big birthday party at “Build-A-Bear” and wanted to have a Ben 10 cake with cupcakes for Aaron’s friends.

Aaron is presently crazy about Ben 10 and had a few favourite characters which he wanted on the cake. After long discussions with my cousin on the various characters that Aaron liked, we finally settled on having Ben, and 2 of the other characters placed on top of the cake. And since Aaron liked the colour green, the cake would have a green base. I decided to add some silver stars to the cake so it wouldn’t look too plain.

As for the cupcakes, we decided on the Ben 10 watch to be the design. In addition, to this order, my cousin also wanted another order of cupcakes for Aaron’s school mates for a 2nd round of celebration, she wanted some cupcakes that both the girls and the boys in the class would enjoy. So we settled on having the Ben 10 watch design again (since Aaron liked those) and butterfly cupcakes for the girls.
A couple of days after the celebration, i found out from my cousin that apparently before they could even have the cake cutting ceremony, many of the boys at the party had pulled apart the toppers and removed the heads of the various toppers. Aaron was understandably upset and took a long long while before he could be coaxed out of his sadness of seeing the precious cake toppers being dismembered. Poor Aaron! That aside, i was glad to hear that Aaron and his friends all enjoyed the cake and cupcakes.
Happy birthday Aaron!

I got a request for a really specialised valentine day cupcakes which i had a great time making. The reason was that this particular batch of cupcakes were really really customised. Every single cupcake was different and every single cupcake had a little story attached to it for the couple.

Unfortunately, they had requested that i not name who they are.. so sorry no names
The girl had requested for these special cupcakes for her boyfriend and each cupcake topper was specifically requested by her as they each had a special meaning for her and her boyfriend. What were the cupcake toppers she requested for you might ask? Well, these included a boy and girl figurine to represent the 2 of them, a figurine of a boy who was still in his army uniform with a handphone in his hand as the he used to wait for her call all the time when he was in the army, cathay movie tickets since they love to watch movies, a dragon and a snake to represent each of their zodiac signs, Mr Bean since the boy loves soya bean, and i even got a chance to try my hand at making a carebear cupcake again!! Yay! There were also several other toppers which i shall not go on to name, but i really thought that this was such as sweet gift since each and every single topper had a special meaning for the couple and was a celebration of little captions of the love.

Although these cupcakes took quite a bit of time to make, since every single cupcake had a different topper and required a different colour fondant, i was really happy with the way they turned out and hope that the boy loved the cupcakes when he got it, especially since there was so much thought and meaning behind each and every single topper for this very special valentine’s gift
Happy Valentine’s Day you two

Jennifer called me up the other day after learning about my little blog and cupcake escapades from my cousin. Her request, some cuppies for Valentine’s Day of course
What was her request you might ask… well it was the Omega Seamaster which Daniel Craig wore in the most recent James Bond movie… (*007 theme song playing in my head as i type this). Sorry about that but i just can’t help it.. haha.. everytime someone mentions 007 or James Bond, the song just starts humming in my head and it’ll be stuck there for the rest of the night. Here’s a little side note and trivia… did you know that every single James Bond since the very beginning wore an Omega watch?! Some of you might be wacking yourselves on the forehead and going DUH!! but seriously i didn’t know that!!! haha… i guess i’m just a blur blob as my hubby always tells me
Anyhow, Jenn’s boyfriend has been eyeing this watch ever since the latest Bond movie came out and since Jenn couldn’t give him the real deal, she decided to go for the next best thing
A cupcake with an edible imitation of the watch!! Hee hee.. I thought that was so sweet! To ensure that i got the proper glittery strap accurate, I added some silver edible glitter to the strap of the watch.. then to add the finishing touches to the watch, i hand painted on the individual dials, numbers watch hands and of course the Omega insignia

Jenn shared some pics of her boyfriends surprised and happy expression when he saw the cuppies… although i can’t share all of them here with you, here are some of the pics she sent me. I’m guessing he loved them..
Happy Valentine’s Jenn and David!
