Stephanie called me up the other day and asked if i would be available to do some cupcakes for her. It was to be for her friend’s birthday and she wanted something different for him. After some discussion as to what the theme of the cupcakes would be like, it was settled on having little bears with rugby jersey’s on and to have a pig with a rugby jersey to represent the birthday boy. Some little rugby balls were also thrown in to round off the whole design.

So with the design settled i did up the little toppers for Stephanie. Although with one amendment… we changed the colours of the jerseys for the girls receiving the cupcakes. This one was my favourite topper though
I thought he was the cutest among all.

Ting Hui contacted me via e-mail sometime back and asked if i could make some carebear cupcakes for her. She wanted the Carebears to have the words Rochelle 1st for her daughter’s 1st birthday.
I was really excited to take this order as i have been dying to try my hand at making some carebears!! Ting Hui was really nice and actually helped me half my research time by sending me pictures of the carebears! Thanks Ting Hui. During our discussions on the colours of the carebears we both found out that we were actually just neighbours!! Haha.. what a small world. Funny thing was i actually haven’t seen her around before.. but then again, i guess other than walking my little Schnauzer round the block, i am pretty anti-social i guess and don’t really hang around at the common areas downstairs so that might probably be the reason why :p
Anyhow, i quickly started making the carebear toppers and everything seemed to go fine and look great.. up till the moment when i added the eyes to the carebear. Sigh then and only then did i realise that i hadn’t made the cheeks of the carebear big enough so the carebears ended up looking really skinny
Have to improve on this the next time round when i try my hand at making carebears again. Here’s a picture of the uncompleted care bear below :p
Ting Hui though exclaimed over the cupcakes and was very happy with the way they turned out, so i do hope that her family and of course her baby girl Rochelle have a fun time demolishing the cupcakes
Happy Birthday Rochelle!!!

Arcely had come across my blog and loved the bear cupcakes i had previously done here. As she was also going to be celebrating her 2nd anniversary, she wanted something special for the day and thought my creations were perfect for what she had in mind
Her request was for some bear cupcakes each holding letters spelling out “2 yrs of bliss, I love u”, with the remainder of the cupcakes having the bears hold some roses.

However, Arcely wanted something blue to go with the cupcakes, and i decided to do some blue frosting for her to go with the little bear toppers and i have to say, the blue frosting managed to highlight the little bears in some undefineable way.
Here’s a shout out to Arcely and her husband, wishing them a very Happy 2nd Anniversary and i hope her husband loved the cupcakes too!

Aizhen and Kaixin who had previously ordered the Man U themed cupcakes as well as the Bear and beer cupcakes e-mailed me once again and asked if i could once again do a special request for them. This time they were celebrating a friend’s birthday and he was crazy about Panda’s so they requested for Panda themed cupcakes. Aizhen told me that usually they tend to buy Panda themed items for the birthday boy but decided this year to do something both something different and practical, so tadah.. panda cupcakes coming up

I was pretty excited to do the cupcakes as i love being able to do new creations and coming up with new ways to model the figurines so they each look different. This time i decided to make some little Panda’s with only their little bottoms sticking up in the air. I though they turned out really cute and it turned out great! When Aizhen and Kaixin came to collect the cupcakes, Kaixin immediately said she found the panda bottoms the cutest. This made my day as it always makes me happy to know that some little idea i came up with can actually bring a smile or a sigh of exclamation from the person! Gives me such a sense of satisfaction and joy

Unfortunately for me.. all the photos i had taken of the completed cupcakes were lost when my computer crashed on me! Wah!!! But Aizhen was so kind as to e-mail me some of the photos of the cupcakes she had taken. Thanks so much Aizhen. Here’s giving a shout out to the Birthday boy and a hundred thanks to Aizhen and Kaixin for once again being so nice as to order another batch of cupcakes from me

First off.. thanks Aizhen for recommending my cupcakes to Debbie
Debbie had given me a call the other day asking if i could do some cupcakes for her. She wanted some doggy cupcakes and some bear cupcakes with the words LINA on it… plus the special request of making the cupcakes as colourful as possible

Well… to change things around a bit, i decided to change the look of my doggies and decided to make some black and white spotted doggies.. as for the bears.. well.. i can’t change it up too much and they look pretty cute as they are so decided to leave them as they are.

My favourite of all the cupcakes i made in this set was the little black and white spotted doggy that was fast asleep… he looked so adorable that i really wanted to keep him.. but of course i can’t right :p Don’t you think he’s just super cute…

Here are a couple of other pictures i took of the doggy cupcakes… enjoy
