Hi Neolh, thanks so much for the compliment. I do intend to hold classes once i’ve managed to find a location but i’ll need at least a minimum of 4 to 6 students per class though. Do you know of any other of your friends that might be interested in attending the class? Thanks! :)

    Cheers,
    Serene

Hello there! I loved your Cars cake with the number 5 on it and wanted to make something similar except have the number 4 for my son’s upcoming birthday. I’ve never worked with fondant, but I am going to do a trial this weekend with fondant and see how it goes.

I probably won’t make the mini fondant cars, but I was interested in how you made the number 5 and what you used to color the fondant.

Any help you can provide would be much appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Carrie Shearin

HI Carrie, thanks so much for your comment and enquiry. With regards to the fondant i used a black edible dye to colour the fondant grey and a white edible dye to draw on the lines of the road. As for the racing stripes on the end and beginning of the 5, that was all hand painted on using the edible dye. Hope that helps!! :)
