Disney cars cake for Joanna
Joanna who i had just recently done up a family cake for, called me up again the other day asking if i could do a small chocolate cake for her son’s birthday.
The theme was Disney Cars theme! As the celebration was to be a small family one, she only wanted a small 6″ cake. Joanna told me that she wanted her son’s name – Aidan to be on the side of the cake with his age “5″ indicated somewhere on the cake as well.

Knowing that it would be a Cars cake i knew i definitely wanted a little road on the cake with the Cars placed on it so they would look like they were travelling on the road. But how to include Aidan’s age onto the cake? Inspiration struck and i decided to do the road to look like a “5″! Due to the size of the cake i couldn’t make the individual Cars too big so they had to be really tiny and that was a real problem since it’s really hard to add the details onto the little Car toppers when they are so small. After some very hand cramping contortions, i finally completed the cake and the 3 toppers
Each of the toppers measured only about 5cm in length! Yikes!! But all the hand cramps were really worthwhile and i loved how the cake turned out
I hope Aidan liked the cake too since his Dad seemed to like it very much when he came to pick up the cake
hee… Happy Birthday Aidan!

Hi,
May I get a quotation for a similar birthday cake (for October)? It’s a Cars theme cake, but the preferably Mater would be the focus character heee. =)
Probably an 8″ or 10″ round chocolate cake.
You may send it to the email I’ve provided. By the way, if I place an order what should be the order lead time?
More power! God Bless!
Hi Aileen, if possible could you contact me via the contact me page as it’s easier for me to keep track of my orders and enquiries via e-mail. Thanks! As for lead time, it’s best to let me know at least 1 month to 2 months ahead of time. However, i do have to warn that orders are on a first come first serve basis and once my schedule is full, i unfortunately won’t be able to accomodate any additional orders for that day. Do let me know and i look forward to hearing from you soon.
