Amy and her friends have been repeat customers of mine and i have to give a shout out to them for their continued support of my cupcakes and for always thinking of me whenever they want something special
Thanks you guys!!
This time round Any wanted some cupcakes for her friend and the designs she requested for included branded bags, an airplane, a pilot, Singapore flag, Tiffany ring, a house, a car and a baby. My favourite among all the designs for these cupcakes had to be the Tiffany ring
What do you think?

Heng Yee contacted me asking if i could do some cupcakes for her which would be suitable for her grandmother who was celebrating her birthday.
After some discussion with her, Heng Yee decided on requesting for “Shou Tou” cupcakes, with a figurine of her grandma on one of the cupcakes, and having some chinese characters on the rest of the cupcakes. For those of you that don’t know what “Shou Tou” is, it’s actually something like a bun which Chinese usually have during birthday celebrations as a sign of longevity. They are supposed to look something like a peach.
This was the first time i had the opportunity to make the “Shou Tou” toppers but i thought it looked really great. Here’s a picture of the cupcakes where the grandma hadn’t been completed (i.e. spectacles and details to grandma’s dress were not done up yet). The design on grandma’s dress was painstakingly painted on by me after everything else was complete. I was really happy with how the grandma turned out and hoepfully grandma enjoyed the look of the cupcakes and everyone had a fun time looking at them too!!
Thanks for the request Heng Yee… i had a really fun time doing up the Shou Tou’s and your little grandma figurine
Stupid me didn’t manage to take some good close up shots of the shou tou and grandma figurine. Arrgghh…

I recently had a request from Wan Qi asking if i could do some cupcakes for her. However, she wasn’t sure what design she wanted on the cupcakes and asked if i could suggest something for her.
After determining that the cupcakes were for a friend’s birthday and that the birthday girl loves the sun, sand and the beach, so i made some suggestions for bikini’s as toppers for the cupcakes but after additional discussions with Wan Qi who wanted the cupcakes to also represent their long standing friendship, we finally decided on having a friendship symbol on the cupcakes with one cupcake with a bikini glad girl to represent the birthday girl.
After searching on the internet for friendship symbols, i finally stumbled on a beautiful and fluid friendship symbol under Zibu Angelic Symbols. Deciding to use this to represent the friendship between the birthday girl and Wan Qi, i completed the cupcakes and the bikini clad girl.
I hoped Wan Qi and the birthday girl both loved the cupcakes.

My friend Jane, whom had also previously ordered the butterfly cupcakes. She had a friend whose birthday was coming up and she wondered if i could do some F1 cupcakes. In addition to some F1 car cupcakes, she also wanted one cupcake to have a little boy who was wearing some race wear to be one of the toppers.
This was to represent the birthday boy
So after several discussions with her, i started on the F1 cars and the little boy topper. These were pretty fun to make and it was fun to make the little boy. Funniest thing was that at the end of the day, my friend decided to change the wording from Happy Birthday Mark to Happy Birthday “Leh Cheh” which means troublesome. Hee…
Here’s a shout out to Mark wishing him a very Happy Birthday and i hope he liked the cupcakes!

Jazz contacted me last week and asked if i could do some beach theme cupcakes for her. Her request was for some beach themed cupcakes for a friend who had just arrived from Hong Kong and who was feeling a little home-sick. So she wanted something bright and colourful to cheer her friend up.
As Jazz and her friend like to hang out at the beach, she therefore asked if i could do some beach themed cupcakes for her. After some discussion, we finally decided on the mini cupcakes and the designs would include some flip flops, beach hats, beach balls and beach towels
I’d been dying to try my hand making the flip flops after seeing some of these designs on the web… and i was quite happy with the way these turned out in the end although i have to say.. 1/2 way through making the flip flops my hands actually cramped up cos they were just so tiny!! haha…
Anyway, I just hope that these cupcakes did manage to bring a smile to Jazz’s friend when she received them
