Evelyn wanted something special for her friend Charles for his birthday.. and since he is a basketball fan, she asked if i could do some basketball cupcakes for her.. but she wanted me to include Kobe’s basketball shoes and Kobe as one of the toppers for the cupcakes.
I said no problem.. although due to the size of the toppers i of course wouldn’t be able to capture his splitting image.. but she said so long as it looks ok.. she was fine with it. Isn’t she nice 
Anyway, these were what the final cupcakes looked like. I loved the colour combination

I got an e-mail from Florlynn the other day and she asked if i could do some basketball themed cupcakes for her. She had seen the previous basketball theme cupcakes i had done and wanted something similar with just a little change in the shoes and jersey
After Florlynn sent me the pictures of the shoes and jersey she wanted, i began making the toppers for these cupcakes. It’s been pretty long since i had to paint on such details onto the shoes and jersey.. so some of the lines were a little shaky :p Overall i think they turned out not too bad
As Florlynn couldn’t make it to collect the cupcakes, she told me her friend would be doing so.. imagine my shock when i opened the door to about 8 of her friends, who had turned up on my doorstep to collect these cupcakes.. haha
Anyway, i do hope that the birthday boy and his friends together with Florlynn enjoyed the cupcakes

Desiree e-mailed me the other day asking if i could do some basketball themed cupcakes for her the birthday boy was a basketball fan. She was very thoughtful and provided me with pictures of the basketball jersey’s she wanted as well as the type of shoes she wanted me to copy for the cupcake toppers. In the end after some discussion, we agreed on the Celtics green jersey and a Lebron Soldier Zoom Nike Basketball shoe.
I was quite happy with how the Celtics jersey and the baskeball shoe turned out and Desiree looked very happy with the cupcakes when she came to pick them up. I just hope that the birthday boy liked it as much as she did :p I do have to say that my basketball hoops didn’t turn out as fantastic as i hoped they would. This is something i really need to improve on.
These Happy B’day cupcakes were also ordered together with the Basketball themed cupcakes by Desiree. I added some sprinkles to the cupcakes to brighten them up
